For parents who want to help their dyslexic child
Dr. Rebecca Troy Retrain The Dyslexic Brain
Free 45-Minute Training

How to End the Reading Struggle for Your Bright Child, without more tutoring centers or years of trial-and-error.

Your bright child isn't broken. They're wired differently, and there's a way to work with that wiring instead of against it.

Rebuild the brain skills your child's reading sits on top of, not just the reading itself. For parents who've already tried the obvious things.

Dyslexia isn't a reading problem. It's a brain wiring difference. Once you understand what your child's brain actually needs, everything changes.

A real client transformation: a 7-year-old's handwriting before and after going through the protocol
Before you register

Is this training for you?

The honest answer, because your time matters.

  • You have a bright child whose reading struggles are getting harder, not easier, with every passing grade.
  • You suspect dyslexia, or you've just received the diagnosis, and you don't want to lose another semester waiting to see if school intervention is enough.
  • You've sat at the kitchen table at night and watched tears stream down your child's face over reading homework, and felt the same frustration yourself.
  • Your child has started saying things like "I have a stomachache" before school, or "I feel stupid" out loud, and you know exactly what they're telling you.
  • You've already tried a tutor, a reading specialist, or a remediation program, and your child has plateaued despite everyone's best effort.

How the training is structured

Forty-five minutes. Three movements. No fluff.

Each part builds on the one before it. Part Two is where the mechanism is revealed: the heart of the training. Watch all the way through; the application piece is the last fifteen minutes.

Part One

Why this is happening

You'll see which parts of the brain light up during reading, and which parts go quiet, in a child with dyslexia versus a typical reader doing the same language task. (Clinically: fMRI brain scans.) Then you'll see what changes after the right intervention. Most parents have never seen this. It reframes everything.

Part Three

How it happens at home

The 10–15 minutes a day that drive the brain change, the level of consistency it actually takes (with real examples of families who got there), and why almost no successful family does this work alone. You'll leave knowing whether this is right for your child, and exactly what your next step would be.

About your guide

Dr. Rebecca Troy

Before I built this protocol, I lived with dyslexia in my own family. Both of my parents have it. My younger brother does. So do many people across both sides of my extended family. I grew up watching this brain profile move through generations, with all of its gifts and very real struggles.

Then I became a mother of two children with dyslexia, and everything changed. I was no longer a researcher looking at brain scans. I was a mother sitting exactly where you are right now, watching a child I knew was brilliant struggle with something that should not be this hard. I built an at-home framework for rebuilding the cognitive skills underneath my own children's reading (the PTO Reconnect Protocol) so that my daughter and son could have something better than what the standard system was offering. My daughter went through it; she is now at the top of her class, every one of her gifts fully intact. My six-year-old son is going through it right now.

Professionally, I'm a Nationally Board Certified educator with a doctorate in education, a TEDx speaker, and have been featured in Forbes and Psychology Today. I've spent more than 22 years in this work and supported more than 3,000 families. But the reason I'm here on this training isn't the credentials. It's that I've sat where you're sitting, and I built the thing I wished existed.

Real notes from real families

Unedited. Unprompted.

A parent's note: 'We have our first spelling list today and my son wanted a practice run for the test on Friday. He missed 1 of 12 and told me the mistake before I could ask him. That smile of confidence is so rewarding.' A parent's note with photo: 'Here he is at a restaurant taking his book everywhere he goes. This program has been life changing.' Five-star Google review: 'This program changed our lives forever when I thought we had no other options.'
Common questions

The questions every parent asks

Is this just a sales pitch?

It's a 45-minute training. The first thirty minutes are the science and the mechanism. The last fifteen are the application piece. At the very end, I'll tell you about working with us inside the PTO Reconnect Protocol so you know what your options are if you want to keep going. There is no high-pressure pitch, and you will never be made to feel weird about deciding it isn't the right fit.

Will someone call me after I register?

Possibly. Someone from Rebecca's team may reach out by phone once after you register, to make sure you got the training link and to answer any questions you have. It is not a hard sales call, and you will never be pressured. If you'd rather not take the call, you can simply let them know — the training itself will still arrive in your inbox.

Do I have to watch it live, or at a certain time?

No. As soon as you register, the training link arrives in your inbox. Watch it tonight after the kids are in bed, on your commute, on your lunch break. Any device, any time.

How is this different from what our reading specialist or tutor is doing?

Most reading remediation works above the cognitive foundation. The PTO Reconnect Protocol works on the foundation itself. In Part Two of the training, you'll see the brain scans that explain why that difference matters, and why so many families plateau on a remediation program even when the program is well-designed and the tutor is genuinely good at what they do.

My child is older. Is it too late?

One of the three children you'll meet in the training is a teenager. The cognitive foundations underneath reading are retrainable across a very wide age range, and Part Two of the training shows what brain change actually looks like on paper for an older child. It is rarely too late. It is often later than it needed to be, which is a different question.

What does it cost?

The training is free. If you decide afterward that you want to work with us inside the full protocol, we'll show you exactly what that looks like and exactly what it costs — no obligation, no pressure, and we will tell you honestly whether we think it's the right fit for your family before we ever talk about money.

One last thing

Forty-five minutes. The full picture. No fluff.

You'll leave knowing exactly why the standard approach has been falling short, what the PTO Reconnect Protocol does differently, and how to decide whether it's right for your child.

Every month you wait, the gap between your bright child and their classmates quietly widens. That's the part most parents don't see until it's a crisis.
